This is a Christian blog. Its name is “Shalom” (Peace), because this is the greeting Jesus used to welcome His disciples after He resurrected:
“On the evening of that first day of the week, when the disciples were together, with the doors locked for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood among them and said: “Peace be with you!” (Shalom!)“ -John 20:19
Shalom – a Peace Journal is the english version of Shalom – Jurnal de Pace (romanian translation, http://shalomshalom.wordpress.com/)
Some of you already know this blog. It was written both languages for some time, but was a little uncomfortable for you to read it this way. This is why I opened this english blog. I intend to keep the same neat decent genre. Both are Christian blogs. I believe that having a peaceful soul helps us to see the beautiful things all around. Life is shinning more, it appears more beautiful for someone whose heart is in peace. I also believe that GOOD and Beauty exist even sometime it’s hard to notice them. We live in a violent world, facing arrogance day by day. Aggressiveness situations are moral, visual and physical. They suppose to scare us, but we can opposite them with a complete faith and trust in our Lord Jesus Christ. We can trust Him, because He is surely watching us and all we need is to trust Him today more than we did yesterday. He is the driver of our lives.
I would like this blog to be kind of a kaleidoscope – blog, a space on the network to put a smile on our faces, a blog who helps us see the beautiful part of this life, bringing Trust in God, Confidence in Him, Joy, Peace, Holy Love, seeking for the Truth.
This is a decent blog. You will not find anything dirty here. The Posts will contain thoughts, music, videos and data about movies and cartoons, texts and verses from the Bible, jokes, tests, maybe some special recipes… I will also copy here something interesting I’ve read (and like) on other addresses (mentioning them, of course 
)
You can use the english flag-icon (upper-right corner of the posts) as a shortcut. Click on it and you will be directed to the romanian twin post. You can also open the english Shalom – Jurnal de Pace (Romanian Version) by using the RSS Feed in the left column. Will be there as a shortcut. On the romanian blog, the RSS Feed is in the same place to open this english blog.

Very good weblog. Not cluttered and complex as many are.
Glad that you are making it a righteous content. The ones that turn vulgar get bad real quickly.
Many interesting essays.
I have a problem though, the further down I read, the slower my computer gets, until it stops.
I guess it can’t handle the large volumes.
But thats my problem. God bless your wonderful work.

I think there is a solution for your problem. See, now there are 5 posts in a window-page. Maybe this goes to this over-loading of the computer.
I will set them to 3. This means there will be more window-pages to read. You will need to click on OLDER POSTS on the bottom of your page to read the next window-pages. Or just pick in the right column: the top posts or recent posts, a post from the Topics list, or a tag-word, or type a word…
